Kaiyukan -Coast of Chile-
At the coast of Chile, the cold current, “Humboldt Current”, flowed from Antarctica brings nutrients to the water and produce a lot of plankton.
“Coast of Chile” recreates such sea enjoinment.

This sea is the paradise for sardines.
They swim in shoals searching for abundant foods.

I didn’t know sardines live other than Japan.
You might say it’s so obvious, but it’s still a little surprise.

Kaiyukan -Cock Strait-
Cock Strait is the sea dividing northern and southern islands of New Zealand in southern hemisphere.

In spite of the tough environment that is exposed to occasional strong winds and cyclically arising cold sea water, this sea is the home to lots of creatures.

Kaiyukan -Japan Deep-
Off the coast of Japan on Pacific Ocean side, there is a ocean trench that is 800 kilometer long and 8,000 meter deep. That’s the Japan Deep.

It is one of the deepest and darkest place in ocean where the Pacific Plate goes into the Earth.
In this depth of the sea, some creatures exist under the immeasurable water pressure.

Strange deep-sea fishes live in the Japan Deep.

In here, the largest crab in the world, Spider crab inhibits.
It has really, really long legs!!
